Muslim Neighbours is committed to the following:
- To convey and support sharing the message of Islam with friendship and wisdom according to the Quran and Sunnah.
- Providing training and responsibility to your volunteering role.
- Meetings and communication to keep you informed regarding our Dawah activities.
- Provide support and encouragement for our Dawah activities.
- Guidance and procedures on safety.
- Dealing with any difficulties, complaints or problems fairly, privately and respectfully.
- We do not promote, advocate or endorse breaking any laws.
- We do not promote, advocate or praise terrorism in any form.
- We do not express or support for any terrorist group.
- We do not promote or endorse any political party or candidate during Muslim Neighbours Dawah events.
- We do not promote, advocate or endorse any hatred, violence against any individual, group or faith or community.
Volunteers Code of Conduct:
- To convey and share the message of Islam with friendship and wisdom according to the Quran and Sunnah.
- Not to go against Muslim Neighbours ethics and values, if in doubt, please inform Dawah team lead or a trustee member.
- If a controversial topic arises during a conversation, please seek assistance Dawah team lead or a trustee member.
- Do not be pressured to answer any question that may be misused or misunderstood.
- Refrain from all forms of harassment, bullying or other forms of discriminatory behaviour.
- Treat other Muslim neighbours volunteers and those Muslim neighbours work with with due respect.
- Refrain from acting in any way that will harm the reputation of Muslim Neighbours and its volunteers.
- Refrain from sharing Muslim Neighbours equipment, documents, financial information and any other information with 3rd parties unless permission is granted by a trustee member in writing.
- If required, provide proof of ID (such as driving licence or passport) as proof of identity or address.
- I do not promote, advocate or endorse any hatred, violence against any individual, group or faith or community.
- I do not promote, advocate or endorse breaking any laws.
- IÂ do not promote, advocate or praise terrorism in any form.
- I do not express or support for any terrorist group.
- I do not promote or endorse any political party or candidate during Muslim Neighbours Dawah events.
- Any personal comments or views on social media or other public platforms are my own and do not represent Muslim Neighbours in any way.
- While volunteering or acting on behalf of Muslim Neighbours, refrain from gathering funds of any external organisations unless approval is gained in writing from trustee members.
- While volunteering for Muslim Neighbours, declare any gift, personal or otherwise, to Dawah team lead or a trustee member.
General Conditions:
- Muslim Neighbours reserves the right to cancel any volunteering registration for any reason at any time.
- All volunteers must understand and agree to (via registration):
- To Muslims Neighbours commitments, volunteer code of conduct and general conditions.
- Declare controversial matters against Islamic principles or criminal convictions in the registration process.
- Muslim Neighbours operate on an honesty policy that adheres to Islamic principles.
